The challenge that started this whole project. I take an exploratory analysis from one of my favorite podcasts and making a clear explanatory visual that tells the same story they found and discussed in a 15 minute segment.

Starting with an unclear visualization from the WTF.viz Tumblr account and seeing what we find when we look at my approximation of the underlying data (the featured image to the left). This challenge really illustrates how the story the data is telling can be lost or clarified based on the visualization used.

With all the articles I have seen in the last few years using “average faces” I wanted to try to make one of my own. I found a tutorial on Medium and made the average face for the Bachelorette contestants in 2019.
